Special powers

Lifesteal. Heals itself for 18% of the damage it deals.
Forest-walker. Crosses forest at full speed.

Strong and weak

Strong: Stragglers, ranged.

Weak: Spears, formations.

As a beast troop, it deals extra damage to Levy (×1.3), Ranged (×1.3) and Support (×1.4) troops.

Ranged (×1.2), Caster (×1.2) and Construct (×1.3) troops deal extra damage to it.

Raising it

The Dire Wolf comes out of its own spawner, which your Builder raises for 950 gold in the middle of a battle. Once it stands it musters a Dire Wolf every 27.3 seconds by itself, and levelling it shortens that — to 17.5 seconds at level 2 and 11.2 seconds at level 3.

Upgrades cost 700 gold to level 2 and 3,100 gold to level 3. Every level also makes the troops it musters hit harder and last longer.

Before it can be raised at all it has to be unlocked in the Armory, for 200 gold — gold carried between battles, earned by fighting them.
