These are the Basilisk's own figures, the ones the Armory prints. In battle the Mythic Beasts's trait is added on top: +12% speed · −11% damage · −18% health. Range, reach and speed are in the battlefield's own units.

Special powers

Lingering damage. Leaves its target taking 11 damage a second for 3.5 seconds.
Root. Pins its target where it stands for 1.6 seconds.
Forest-walker. Crosses forest at full speed.

Strong and weak

Strong: Chargers, elites, cavalry.

Weak: Range, fliers, burst.

As a beast troop, it deals extra damage to Levy (×1.3), Ranged (×1.3) and Support (×1.4) troops.

Ranged (×1.2), Caster (×1.2) and Construct (×1.3) troops deal extra damage to it.

Raising it

The Basilisk comes out of its own spawner, which your Builder raises for 2,850 gold in the middle of a battle. Once it stands it musters a Basilisk every 1 minute 44 seconds by itself, and levelling it shortens that — to 1 minute 12 seconds at level 2 and 46.3 seconds at level 3.

Upgrades cost 2,100 gold to level 2 and 9,450 gold to level 3. Every level also makes the troops it musters hit harder and last longer.

Before it can be raised at all it has to be unlocked in the Armory, for 2,050 gold — gold carried between battles, earned by fighting them.
