These are the Steam Ram's own figures, the ones the Armory prints. In battle the Steampunk Hold's trait is added on top: +18% health · +12% damage · −6% speed. Range, reach and speed are in the battlefield's own units.
Special powers
- Armour. Takes 30% less damage from every blow that does not ignore armour.
- Siege. Deals ×2.1 damage to keeps and buildings.
- Knockback. Its blows shove the target back.
Strong and weak
Strong: Gates, walls, keeps.
Weak: Open ground, fliers.
As a siege troop, it deals extra damage to Titan (×1.3), Legend (×1.25), Construct (×1.5) and Levy (×1.2) troops.
Ranged (×1.3) troops deal extra damage to it.
Raising it
The Steam Ram comes out of its own spawner, which your Builder raises for 2,350 gold in the middle of a battle. Once it stands it musters a Steam Ram every 1 minute 45 seconds by itself, and levelling it shortens that — to 1 minute 13 seconds at level 2 and 46.9 seconds at level 3.
Upgrades cost 1,650 gold to level 2 and 7,350 gold to level 3. Every level also makes the troops it musters hit harder and last longer.
Before it can be raised at all it has to be unlocked in the Armory, for 2,050 gold — gold carried between battles, earned by fighting them.
