Pressure Mortar
It does not use powder. It uses the same pressure that runs the hold, held far too long.
Crowd-killer · hits many at once

These are the Pressure Mortar's own figures, the ones the Armory prints. In battle the Steampunk Hold's trait is added on top: +18% health · +12% damage · −6% speed. Range, reach and speed are in the battlefield's own units.
Special powers
- Siege. Deals ×1.7 damage to keeps and buildings.
- Splash. Every hit also strikes everything within 99 of the target for 70% of its damage.
Strong and weak
Strong: Buildings, clumps.
Weak: Anything fast.
As a siege troop, it deals extra damage to Titan (×1.3), Legend (×1.25), Construct (×1.5) and Levy (×1.2) troops.
Ranged (×1.3) troops deal extra damage to it.
Raising it
The Pressure Mortar comes out of its own spawner, which your Builder raises for 2,600 gold in the middle of a battle. Once it stands it musters a Pressure Mortar every 1 minute 53 seconds by itself, and levelling it shortens that — to 1 minute 21 seconds at level 2 and 52.5 seconds at level 3.
Upgrades cost 1,800 gold to level 2 and 8,050 gold to level 3. Every level also makes the troops it musters hit harder and last longer.
Before it can be raised at all it has to be unlocked in the Armory, for 1,400 gold — gold carried between battles, earned by fighting them.
