Special powers
- Armour. Takes 24% less damage from every blow that does not ignore armour.
- Armour-piercing. Its attacks ignore armour entirely.
- Brace. Deals ×2.3 damage to cavalry, beasts and other big targets.
- Knockback. Its blows shove the target back.
Strong and weak
Strong: Knights, golems, constructs.
Weak: Speed, range, kiting.
As an anti-armor troop, it deals extra damage to Construct (×1.4) troops.
Ranged (×1.2) troops deal extra damage to it.
Raising it
The Shieldbreaker comes out of its own spawner, which your Builder raises for 1,550 gold in the middle of a battle. Once it stands it musters a Shieldbreaker every 1 minute 4 seconds by itself, and levelling it shortens that — to 41 seconds at level 2 and 26.3 seconds at level 3.
Upgrades cost 1,150 gold to level 2 and 5,100 gold to level 3. Every level also makes the troops it musters hit harder and last longer.
Before it can be raised at all it has to be unlocked in the Armory, for 500 gold — gold carried between battles, earned by fighting them.
