These are the Lantern Engine's own figures, the ones the Armory prints. In battle the Star-Fallen's trait is added on top: +3% range. Range, reach and speed are in the battlefield's own units.
Special powers
- Armour-piercing. Its attacks ignore armour entirely.
- Siege. Deals ×1.8 damage to keeps and buildings.
- Lane-piercing. Each shot runs on through everything in a straight line 26 wide.
Strong and weak
Strong: Buildings, lanes.
Weak: Anything fast.
As a siege troop, it deals extra damage to Titan (×1.3), Legend (×1.25), Construct (×1.5) and Levy (×1.2) troops.
Ranged (×1.3) troops deal extra damage to it.
Raising it
The Lantern Engine comes out of its own spawner, which your Builder raises for 2,250 gold in the middle of a battle. Once it stands it musters a Lantern Engine every 1 minute 34 seconds by itself, and levelling it shortens that — to 1 minute 3 seconds at level 2 and 40.3 seconds at level 3.
Upgrades cost 1,650 gold to level 2 and 7,450 gold to level 3. Every level also makes the troops it musters hit harder and last longer.
Before it can be raised at all it has to be unlocked in the Armory, for 1,400 gold — gold carried between battles, earned by fighting them.
